Flower/Truss Description:  Flower broadly funnel-shaped, sometimes petaloid, 2¾"-3⅛" across, vivid reddish orange, edges strong reddish orange, upper lobe sometimes has strong orange blotch. Lax truss has 8-14 flowers.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Late Midseason

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves elliptic to ovate, apiculate apex, cuneate base, slightly glossy, hairy, New leaves purple bronze colored. Upright growth habit.

Deciduous or Evergreen:  Deciduous

Height:  3 feet in 10 years.

Cold Hardiness Temp:  -5°F  ( -21°C)
