Predominant Flower Color:  Red

Flower/Truss Description:  Flower widely funnel-shaped, 2½" across, strong purplish-red with considerable dark reddish-purple spots on dorsal lobe. Held in ball shaped truss with 8-12 flowers.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Very Late

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves narrowly elliptic, acute apex, cuneate base, 4 to 5" long, yellowish-green with thin tan to golden indumentum, retained 2 years. Silvery gray tomentum when new. New stems are red. Upright, rounded habit.

Height:  5 feet in 10 years.
