Flower/Truss Description:  Flower tubular funnel-shaped, wavy edges, 2½" across, vivid red with very light spotting of deep red on dorsal lobe. Held in ball-shaped truss of 13 flowers.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Midseason

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves elliptic, flat, apiculate apex, cuneate base, 3½" long, glossy, olive-green, with orange-yellow indumentum, leaves retained 3 years. Upright, well-branched habit.

Height:  3 feet in 10 years.
