Flower/Truss Description:  Flower campanulate, 2½" across, vivid red. Held in large conical trusses of about 12. Takes five plus years to bloom.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Very Early

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves elliptic to obovate, about 6" long, dull, dark green, rather sparse down below. Upright, open habit. Plant grows tree-like.

Height:  6 feet in 10 years.

Cold Hardiness Temp:  15°F  ( -9°C)
