Flower/Truss Description:  Flower openly funnel-shaped, 3" across, wavy lobes, vivid violet-purple shading to purplish-red in the center with a prominent black flare on upper lobes. Held in ball-shaped truss with 19 flowers.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Late

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves elliptic, wavy margins, acute apex, cuneate base, 4½" long, retained 2 years. Dense, spreading growth habit.

Height:  4 feet in 10 years.
