Flower/Truss Description:  Flower widely funnel-campanulate, wavy edges, 2" across, purplish-red fading to deep purplish-pink throat, short red rays in throat, reverse deep purplish-pink. Ball-shaped truss holds 19 flowers.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Early Midseason

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves obovate, acute apex, cuneate base, 5" long, with heavy brownish-orange felt-like indumentum. New growth is grayish yellow-green. Rounded habit.

Height:  2 feet in 10 years.

Cold Hardiness Temp:  5°F  ( -15°C)
