Flower/Truss Description:  Flower openly funnel-shaped, wavy edges, 3½" across, very fragrant, vivid purplish-red with two deep red flares on upper dorsal lobe. Held in ball-shaped truss with 14 flowers.

Fragrant:  Yes

Bloom Time:  Early

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves narrowly elliptic, acute apex, cuneate base, 5" long, glossy, moderate olive green, retained 2 years. Upright, spreading, dense habit.

Height:  4 feet in 10 years.
