Predominant Flower Color:  Red

Flower/Truss Description:  Flower funnel-shaped to funnel-campanulate, about 2" across, deep red to light pink, bicolored or white, with sparse red spotting. Compact truss holds 12-20 flowers. Often blooms in December.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Very Early

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves elliptic, oblong or oblanceolate, 5" to 7" long, dull, mid to dark green with thin indumentum. Variable habit. One of the oldest hybrids from about 1835.

Height:  4 feet in 10 years.

Cold Hardiness Temp:  -10°F  ( -23°C)
