Flower/Truss Description:  Flower openly funnel-shaped, wavy-edges, 4" across, strong purplish-red, with two deep purplish red flares and paler, browner peripheral spotting on dorsal lobe. Ball-shaped truss holds 20 flowers.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Midseason

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves elliptic, apiculate apex, cuneate base, 4½" to 6" long, moderate olive green, retained 2 years. Upright habit.

Height:  5 feet in 10 years.
