Predominant Flower Color:  Purple

Flower/Truss Description:  Flower openly funnel-shaped, 1½" across, frilly-edged lobes; strong reddish purple with yellowish brown eye. Truss has 10-15 flowers.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Midseason

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves elliptic, convex, wavy margins, apiculate apex, cuneate base; bullate and glossy above. Foliage almost black in autumn, and remains that color through the bloom period. Dense plant habit.

Height:  2 feet in 10 years.

Cold Hardiness Temp:  -25°F  ( -32°C)
