Predominant Flower Color:  Purple

Flower/Truss Description:  Flower funnel-shaped, wavy lobed, 1¾" across, deep to strong purple, tinged deep reddish-purple, with a dark red blotch. Similar to 'Purple Splendour', but with slightly paler blotch. Truss contains 11-14 flowers.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Late Midseason

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves elliptic, broadly acute apex, cuneate base, 4⅓" to 5⅛" long, glossy, medium green. Well-branching plant that is more compact than 'Purple Splendour'.

Height:  4 feet in 10 years.

Cold Hardiness Temp:  -15°F  ( -26°C)
