Flower/Truss Description:  Flower openly funnel-shaped, 1½" across, purplish-red in bud, opening reddish-purple. Held in flat dome-shaped truss with 4 flowers.

Bloom Time:  Early

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves elliptic, broadly acute apex, cuneate to rounded base, 1¾" long, fragrant when crushed. Mahogany color in autumn. Dense habit.

Height:  3 feet in 10 years.
