Flower openly funnel-shaped, 4½" across, vivid yellow in throat shading to creamy white at periphery of 3 dorsal lobes and on lower lobes, vivid red eye deep in throat, deeper yellow stripes on center of lobes into throat. Ball truss has 15-17 flowers.
