 Flower openly campanulate, wavy lobes, 2½" across, vivid reddish pink that fades with age and small-size red blotch. Ball-shaped truss of up to 22 flowers.

 Leaves elliptic to narrowly obovate, acute apex, cuneate base, 4" to 5" long, somewhat rolled down at edges, coriaceous, glossy, deep green, sparse orange-colored indumentum. Leaves retained 3 years. White tomentum when new. Broad growth habit.
