Leaves elliptic to narrowly obovate, acute apex, cuneate base, 4" to 5" long, somewhat rolled down at edges, coriaceous, glossy, deep green, sparse orange-colored indumentum. Leaves retained 3 years. White tomentum when new. Broad growth habit.
