 Flower broadly funnel-shaped, 2" across, strong violet shading lighter in throat, with a few green-brown spots on dorsal lobe. Held in terminal clusters of 3-5 buds with 2-5 flowers per bud.

 Leaves narrowly elliptic, 2½" long, aromatic, olive green, held 2-3 years. Bronze when new. Dense, rounded plant.
