 Flower openly funnel-campanulate, wavy lobes, 3" across, strong yellowish-pink aging to pale orange-yellow with yellow spots and a ⅜" edging of red that lightens with age. Held in ball-shaped truss of 12-14 flowers.

 Leaves narrowly elliptic, apiculate apex, cuneate base, 5½" to 6¼" long, glossy, light golden brown indumentum when new, leaves retained 2 years.
