R. 'Anita Gehnrich'

Elepidote Rhododendron: 'Anita Gehnrich'

Flower deep pink fading to pale purplish pink in throat with red dorsal lobe spotting, openly funnel-shaped, wavy edges, 3½" across.  Dome-shaped truss holds 14 flowers.  Blooms midseason.  Leaves elliptic, acute apex, rounded base, flat, 5½" long, glossy, very dark green with slight brown indumentum on mature leaves, leaves retained 3 years.  Dense, spreading plant habit.  Grows to a typical height of 3 ft. in 10 years.  Cold hardy to -15°F (-26°C).  Hybridized by Waldman.

 
R. 'Weston's Aglo'

Lepidote Rhododendron: 'Weston's Aglo'

Flower moderate purplish pink with coppery red spotting, broadly funnel-shaped, wavy edges, 1½" across.  Dome-shaped truss holds about 8 flowers.  Blooms early midseason.  Leaves elliptic, acute apex, cuneate base, 2¼" long, glossy, medium green, retained 1 year.  Plant has an open habit.  Sun tolerant.  Grows to about 3 ft. in 10 years.  Very cold hardy to -25°F (-32°C).  Hybridized by Mezitt.

 
R. 'Rose Greely'

Evergreen Azalea: 'Rose Greely'

Flower white with a yellowish green blotch, hose-in-hose, widely funnel-shaped, wavy edged, 2½" across, fragrant.  Blooms early mid season.  Plant has a dense, spreading habit.  Grows to a typical height of 4 ft. in 10 years.  Cold hardy to 5°F (-15°C).  Hybridized by Gable.

 
R. 'My Mary'

Deciduous Azalea: 'My Mary'

Flower brilliant yellow with orange tube, no markings, tubular funnel-shaped, wavy lobes, 2½" across, fragrant.  Conical trusses hold up to 25 flowers.  Blooms early midseason.  Leaves near narrowly obovate to elliptic, mucronate apex, cuneate base, 1¼" long, deciduous.  Attractive, compact habit.   Grows to 5 ft. in 10 years.  Plant is cold hardy to 0°F (-18°C).  Insect and disease resistant.  Hybridized by Beasley.
