R. 'Noyo Dream'

Elepidote Rhododendron: 'Noyo Dream'

Flower deep purplish-pink, openly campanulate, frilly edges, 2" across.  Held in ball-shaped trusses of 19 flowers.  Blooms very early.  Leaves obovate, flat, 4" long, with dark grayish-yellow felted indumentum below, retained 2 years.  Grows to a typical height of 3 ft. in 10 yrs.  Cold hardy to 0°F (-18°C).  Hybridized by Moyles.

 
R. 'Egret'

Lepidote Rhododendron: 'Egret'

Flower pale yellow green, tubular-campanulate, up to ⅝" across.  Trusses have 2-6 flowers.  Blooms early midseason.  Leaves broadly elliptic, up to ⅞" long, shiny, mid-green.  Very compact habit.  Grows to a typical height of 1 ft. in 10 years.  Hardy to -5°F (-21°C).  Hybridized by Cox.  Award of Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1987.

 
R. 'Koromo-shikibu'

Evergreen Azalea: 'Koromo-shikibu'

Flower light purplish pink, with darker tips and spots at base, single, 2½" across, with narrow, deeply divided, strap-like lobes, ¼" wide and 1½" long.  Blooms early midseason.  Upright, open plant habit.  Grows to a typical height of 4 ft. in 10 years.  Cold hardy to -10°F (-23°C).  Hybridizer is unknown.

 
R. 'Totally Awesome'

Deciduous Azalea: 'Totally Awesome'

Flower brilliant and light yellow with vivid reddish-orange edges and vivid yellow dorsal blotch, reverse deep yellowish-pink.  Some flowers with petal-like stamens.  Dome-shaped truss with 7 flowers.  Blooms midseason.  Leaves narrower than narrowly elliptic, acute apex, narrowly cuneate base, 2¾" to 3¼" long, concave glossy, dark yellowish-green.  Upright, well-branched plant.  Grows to a typical height of 4 ft. in 10 years.  Hardy to -5°F (-21°C).  Hybridized by Bunnell.
